New York, November 2, 2005 – You do mine, I’ll do yours. At “An Enduring Vision”, a benefit on Wednesday for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, famous guests at Cipriani Wall Street included Bette Midler, whose own charity gala earlier in the week featured a performance by Sir Elton John. English prodigy Joss Stone looked lovely, and she just happened to have recorded a duet with Elton for an album, the proceeds of which will benefit the foundation. It’s very cozy in celebrity land. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.) Elton’s future husband, David Furnish, wasn't there, but Richard Gere, Stanley Tucci, Elvis Costello, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenneth Cole and Moby filled up the tables nicely. |
