Los Angeles, November 29, 2005 – New parents Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams must really be nesting in their new house in Brooklyn, because they didn’t go to the Hollywood premiere of Brokeback Mountain. Anne Hathaway didn’t make an appearance either, so Jake Gyllenhaal had to satisfy himself with director Ang Lee. Lee said he had Jake and Heath do the make-out scenes "five or six times", and that they’re both “great actors”. Ahem.

Anyway, it was an odd assortment of folks – Lindsay Lohan, Christian Slater, Chad Allen - who checked out the make-out scenes. Francesca Gregorini, who Portia de Rossi left for Ellen DeGeneres, showed up with her current girlfriend.
