Los Angeles, November 6, 2005 – The catty Desperate Housewives folks were so relieved when they thought that Felicity Huffman wasn't even a woman, but was actually a pre-op transsexual, they put their backstabbing ways on hold, and all showed up for the AFI Film Festival screening of Transamerica. Nicollette Sheridan came although she wasn’t feeling well, and Teri Hatcher made an appearance even though she couldn’t find a babysitter. Eva Longoria almost missed it; she’d just gotten off a flight and came directly from the airport. Huffman’s husband, William H. Macy, showed his support by putting on his best Tom Cruise act, showering her with camera-ready kisses.

With a 5:30 A.M. call time the next morning, they weren't amused when they found out that Huffman only plays a transsexual in Transamerica. Her character's name in the movie? Bree.
