New York, November 12, 2005 – Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire had New Yorkers hot under their Gryffindor-colored scarves! An unprecedented number of muggles lined the streets near the Ziegfeld Theatre in midtown Manhattan on Saturday, bearing signs saying everything from “I love you Dan” to “Boxers or briefs?” As each of the young stars arrived, the decibel level reached ear-shattering proportions, starting with Rupert Grint, and continuing on to Emma Watson and, of course, Daniel Radcliffe, whose big blue eyes and devilish grin reminded many at the scene of Elijah Wood. What do you think, fans? Psst. Robert Pattinson is every bit as good looking in person as his character, Cedric Diggory, is on the screen, and the fans went into a frenzy when he arrived, with screaming at the Daniel Radcliffe level. Even people who didn’t know who he is were wondering who this handsome guy was. We chatted with Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang, and she has a thick Scottish accent. Katie laughed when asked, and said that she has not been practicing kissing Daniel Radcliffe for future Potter movies. |
