New York, October 15, 2005 – Did you notice a lot more nerds than usual trotting around Manhattan this weekend? It wasn’t just the techies getting outside after endless days of rain. They were heading to the Digital Life exhibition at the Javits Center to check out the newest electronic gadgets, and even got a preview of the not-yet-released Xbox 360. How convenient that this expo is in October, so that you could find the perfect holiday gift for the geek in your life.

Anyway, it turns out that nerds are hot! Carmen Electra and Rachel Hunter had gamers crossing their wires. (What, you were expecting a joystick joke here?) We found Jessica Alba and rapper Cam’ron involved in heavy hand motions, on some electronic game. Our fave Philly band, The Roots, were checking out the electronica along with Redman. Frankie Gotti Agnello took time off from his Long Island tanning salon to check out the goods. Don’t tell anyone he was hanging around with nerds, OK?
