Los Angeles, October 2 – The Pacific Design Center in Hollywood was ablaze with even more style than usual on Sunday, with the 2nd annual Hollywood Style Awards. Not only was Nicole Richie, the woman at the top of everyone’s best-dressed list, there, but she brought along her secret weapon, uber stylist Rachel Zoe. One of the event’s sponsors, Krug champagne, caused some consternation by asking celebrity guests to pose with bottles for photos. It was particularly awkward for Nicole Richie, who has battled substance abuse problems.

Taryn Manning apparently holds no grudges against Jet Blue airlines, another one of the evening’s sponsors. Just ten or so days before, the Hustle & Flow star had the frightening experience of being aboard the Jet Blue flight that was forced to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles after circling for three hours. (The plane amazingly landed safely and no one was injured.)

Also celebrating Hollywood style were Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro, Kristin Chenoweth, Rosanna Arquette, Gina Gershon and James Denton.
