September 24-30 – Bruce Willis insisted that although he's been trying for years, he’s still never caught a fish. That didn’t change on Thursday, and that’s probably a good thing, since he cast his line off of Randall’s Island, which, despite its ocean breezy name, is in the middle of New York City’s cleaner but far from pristine East River. Willis was shilling for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and ignored our pleas for details on his ex-wife Demi Moore’s wedding to Ashton Kutcher. Also not speaking of weddings, Sheryl Crow introduced her new album, Wildlower, with a four-song concert at a Manhattan Virgin Megastore for a small crowd of lucky fans. Crow's fiance, Lance Armstrong, wasn't there, but the rocker sported quite a rock on her finger. Mischa Barton was so excited to promote Keds at a Los Angeles shoe store, she forgot, once again, that sneakers don't really go with glamorous red carpet-style dresses. Mischa would have looked real cute wearing a denim skirt with those Keds, right? Another questionable style came from Tiger Woods, who had his hair shaved into tiger stripes while promoting his Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game in New York. There were screams and tears from Oscar-winner Charlize Theron when she was honored for her ten-year acting career with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. |
