New York, August 19 – For adolescent girls, what could be better than a trip to the mall? How about going to the mall to see a concert by pop heartthrob Ryan Cabrera, and then meeting him to tell him how cute he is? Teens and tweens were lined up three deep on Friday at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY, where Ashlee Simpson’s former boyfriend and current “just friend” performed in a parking lot, and then signed autographs for fans. And really, what better way to get the young ladies shopping for notice-me-Ryan...er, we mean back-to-school outfits?

Speaking of outfits, Ryan’s fedora may have been the most noticeable thing he was wearing that day, but what would Ashlee think of his Britney Spears t-shirt?
