Miami, FL, August 25 – Who goes to Miami in August? Besides MTV and us, that is. We got down here on Thursday to kick off the Video Music Awards, only to find 100-mph winds and floods. To make matters worse, the wimps in Florida let a little rain scare them, and all of Thursday night’s parties were cancelled. Nothing to report so far, but we have to dash and call our insurance agent about that palm tree that fell on our luggage, which tragically contained our beloved Rolex, three fur coats, two very expensive digital cameras plus assorted lenses, six designer suits (we couldn’t decide what to wear, so…), an iPod or three, three laptop computers, an armful of diamond bracelets, four designer swimsuits, two pair of $300 Gucci sunglasses…
