Los Angeles, June 10 – Sandra Bullock told The Hollywood Reporter that she and her sister, Gesine Prado, would never pose together in photos to promote their production company, Fortis Films. But the sisters obliged us at the Crystal & Lucy Awards on Friday, where they were among the female entertainment industry executives honored by Women in Film. The pair is behind the George Lopez TV sitcom, and the show’s star, looking fit after his recent kidney transplant, was at the Beverly Hilton to cheer them on. Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is male, but he was honored along with his longtime (female) manager, Jaime Rucker King, and attorney, Nina Shaw. And further proving that gay men/straight women symbiosis cliché, it turns out that Debra Messing and Megan Mullally are the production brains behind their hit show Will & Grace. We didn’t know that either, but that’s what these awards are there to tell us. |
