Anaheim, CA, May 14 – The summer concert season began Saturday in Anaheim with KIIS FM’s Wango Tango, and we learned a few things there.

First, not only can’t Lindsay Lohan sing, she’s also not so great at karaoke. Despite declaring this her first live concert appearance, the bony actor/singer lip-synched her way through three songs, but her lips weren’t very in synch with the music, and she was never out of breath from all of her dancing around.

Kelly Clarkson still has curves in her figure, and she used them to better advantage than in the past, with a more animated performance; it seems she’s learned something while touring.

Jennifer Lopez flaunted street cred by wearing a t-shirt with the slogan “F—k It!” across her chest, but respected the young children in the audience by keeping it partially covered with a strip of black electrical tape. However, when she did her duet with Fat Joe, J. Lo’s inner girl from the block took over, and she ripped the tape off!

Does this edgy tough chick really need squads of bodyguards? Apparently she does, to protect her from anti-fur activists; although there were no incidents at the concert. Marc Anthony roamed around backstage, and judging by J. Lo’s flat belly, pregnancy rumors seem dubious.

Will Smith brought his kids onto the stage, and did some old songs with DJ Jazzy Jeff. Gavin Rossdale watched his wife Gwen Stefani’s rocking performance from the press pit near the stage. Simple Plan did their set from the middle of Angel Stadium, rather than on the stage. Ludacris, Black Eyed Peas, Ciara and Backstreet Boys also performed.
