New York, May 31 – Dan Wheldon, who won
the Indianapolis 500 auto race over the holiday weekend, was in
New York today to bask in the limelight following his victory, and,
no doubt, to sign endorsement deals left and right. Wheldon, the
first British driver to win the race since 1966, held a press conference
at the Hudson Hotel this morning, and then headed out to the street,
where he posed on, in and around an Indy racecar. Wheldon told us
what he thinks of female Indy 500 racer Danica Patrick:
“She’s hot.”
