Los Angeles, April 4 – We thought Matthew McConaughey looked a bit peaked at the Sahara premiere, but it turned out to be a camel on Penelope Cruz’s arm. She walked the animal from around the side of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and right on up the carpet. Penelope got stuck at one point when the camel stepped on her dress; she tried to get it to move, but it wouldn’t budge. Tension mounted as we waited for the dress to rip; finally some camel-handlers came and moved it.

Matthew McConaughey topped off his cross-country trailer park extravaganza by driving up to the premiere in his Airstream. He jumped out, bent over and extended a short staircase to the ground, and Michael Eisner, William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman, James Denton, Steve Zahn and the camel watched as at least thirty people poured out of the trailer.
