San Francisco, April 28 – They sure have style in San Francisco. The city’s 48th annual International Film Festival is in mid term right now, and the San Francisco Film Society’s fundraiser was a classy, black tie affair with folks like Helen Mirren, Joan Allen, Jeff Bridges, Benjamin Bratt and preggers wife Talisa Soto, Ray director Taylor Hackford and Million Dollar Baby screenwriter Paul Haggis populating the luxe Ritz Carlton. Fog City notables Phil Bronstein, who was formerly married to Sharon Stone, and same-sex-marrying scofflaw Mayor Gavin Newsom both worked the room. Bronstein and Newsom both recently ended their high profile marriages, and in true San Francisco spirit, we think the two guys make a cute couple.
