Los Angeles, February 7 – The whole group of Oscar nominees hasn’t been together under one roof in, gosh, it must be two days! So they remedied this shocking oversight by having lunch. Together. All of them. Leonardo, Hilary, Jamie. Wait, it’ll be faster to just tell you who wasn’t there. Every Oscar nominee except for Natalie Portman, Clint Eastwood and Johnny Depp was at the Beverly Hilton for the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences pre-Academy Awards luncheon.

The annual luncheon is intended to allow nominees to meet in a more informal setting, before the big day, February 27. After the film critics, People’s Choice, National Board of Review, Golden Globes, SAG awards (see below) and a million others, we’d think these people would be sick of each other. But the whole gang slurped soup peaceably, and there was one new face, thankfully – Oscar host Chris Rock had them laughing.
