New York, January 18 – “Don’t scream. You’re making me nervous”, Lawrence Fishburne said to members of the press who had gathered at a private screening of his out-this-week movie, Assault on Precinct 13. So we became calm and orderly, until Fishburne shrieked a greeting when hip-hop star Ja Rule arrived. Fishburne ignored it when someone inevitably piped up, “Don’t scream. You’re making me nervous.” Ethan Hawke and John Leguizamo are also in the action film, and both kept the decibel level down, so as not to assault Fishburne’s ears.
