Las Vegas, December 8 – What everyone was really wondering at Wednesday’s Billboard Music Awards was whether or not Britney Spears is pregnant. It’s hard to tell if Brit’s little belly, visible from certain angles, is a future Federline or just the result of too many Cheetos. Britney’s black lace mini dress is by Alireza, we’re told, and it sure isn’t maternity wear. The Billboard awards in Las Vegas marked Britney’s first public appearance since she married Kevin Federline.

But all this personal stuff hasn’t kept Britney from expressing her artistry, which was recognized with the distinguished “Hot Dance Sales Single of the Year” award.

The “Digital Artist of the Year” award went to Maroon 5 and “Digital Track of the Year” was Outkast’s Hey Ya! (So, does that mean these are the most illegally-downloaded artists?) 50 Cent won in an even more fabulous category, “Ringtone of the Year”. (So that’s the tune we keep hearing when cell phones go off at the movies!)

The biggest winners of the evening were Usher, Alicia Keys and Kanye West, and Stevie Wonder was recognized for career achievement with a Century Award.

Tara Reid presented an award, and managed to keep all of her clothing on, but stumbled and almost fell while leaving the stage; she caught herself in time. Backstage, Kanye West refused to remove his sunglasses, saying he had a headache.
