New York, November 18 – We’re glad our trial wasn’t
going on when the annual Jury Appreciation Day struck the New York
State Courthouse in lower Manhattan. The boatload of celebs distracting
jurors and jurists alike included Matthew Broderick
and Sarah Jessica Parker, Rudy Giuliani,
Anne Curry, Ally Sheedy, Leslie
Uggams, Ivanka Trump, Michael Imperioli,
Clive Davis and Rosanne Cash. No,
we're not making this up, and there were more. Conan O’Brien
revealed to jurors his method for getting out of jury service: “If
they’ve [defendants] gotten this far in the system, you have
to figure they’re guilty.”
