New
York, October 18 – What was it like making out with
hunky Jude Law, who plays ultimate ladies’
man Alfie? Jane Krakowski: “I
kind of can’t believe they paid me; it was such a delicious
experience.” Nia Long: “I love
my job.” Law’s girlfriend Sienna Miller
didn’t offer an opinion, because she wasn’t at
the film’s New York premiere. The couple met while shooting
the film, and Law told us all about it: “We met at work.
She’s a great actress. She has enthusiasm and talent.”
Law said that recreating Michael Caine’s
original 1966 role was “Terrifying”.
Gina
Gershon
and Monty Python's Eric Idle both said they
came to the premiere to support their good friend Dave
Stewart, of the Eurythmics. Stewart composed the
Alfie score along with Mick Jagger.
Jagger, no slouch with the ladies, said, “All men can
relate to Alfie when they’re young”.
