Los
Angeles, June 22 – It was practically a superheroes’
convention at Mann’s Village Theater, with Batman Val
Kilmer, vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar
and Spider-Man Tobey Maguire all at the Spider-Man
2 premiere. Maguire and Willem Dafoe
seemed really happy to see each other, and managed a big hug
before Maguire returned to his usual saturnine state. Kirsten
Dunst told us that she was excited, and not too nervous
to see the new flick in front of an audience. Dunst added
that she was glad that her boyfriend, Jake Gyllenhaal,
wasn’t cast as Spider-Man because it would’ve
been hard on their relationship. When fans shouted, “We
love you Rachael!” to Josie and the Pussycats’
Rachael Leigh Cook, her boyfriend, Spidey
2 costar Daniel Gillies, yelled back,
“No, I love her more than you do!” More sickening
than spiders.
