Los
Angeles, June 24 – Presidential candidate John
Kerry has met the Fockers. Ben Stiller,
Barbra Streisand and Robert DeNiro,
who all star in the upcoming movie Meet the Fockers,
helped out at a fundraiser at the Disney Concert Hall last
night. We can’t imagine what Ben Affleck
meant when he complained about being in the press way too
much for the wrong reasons. “Next question!” was
his response when asked how he felt about Jennifer
Lopez’s recent marriage to Marc Anthony.
He also likes Barbra Streisand’s music. (Is that the
real reason J. Lo left him?) Affleck had lots of political
opinions, but we weren’t really paying attention as
he yakked about the republicans’ tax cuts for the rich,
and lack of healthcare initiatives.
Willie
Nelson thinks John Edwards would
make a good running mate for Kerry, even though he’s
a lawyer. "He’s from down south, so I could forgive
him.” Streisand and Neil Diamond reunited
to sing You Don’t Bring Me Flowers for the
first time in 20 years. Babs’ husband James
Brolin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie
Foxx and Billy Crystal all added
their two cents.
