New York, April 14 – Just when we’d gotten over Martha Stewart, along comes Lil’ Kim, indicted for lying to investigators about a shooting incident between members of her entourage and that of rival hip-hop artist Foxy Brown. The urban version of a Hatfield and McCoy-style confrontation took place in 2001 outside of a Greenwich Village radio station, leaving one man injured. Lil’ Kim, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, turned herself in today at a Manhattan federal court. She made no comments, and her attorney told reporters that Kim would be vindicated. Famous for wearing very revealing costumes, Kim was primly buttoned-up for today’s court appearance. And speaking of clothing, let’s get a jump on the tabloids – is that a $12,000 bag she’s carrying?
