February 11-13 – While Paris Hilton was nowhere to be found at New York Fashion Week, her sex tape costar Rick Solomon went largely unnoticed at the Zac Posen show on Thursday. Also at Posen, wheelchair-bound artist Chuck Close introduced himself to actress Claire Danes, and told her that when she was four months old, he bounced her on his knee. Danes replied that it was nice to meet him in person. Close’s ties to the Danes family go back to the 1960s, when Claire’s grandfather Gibson Danes was Dean of the Yale School of Art and Architecture, where Close earned BFA and MFA degrees.

At Brazilian designer Carlos Miehle’s show, we asked rapper Eve when we can expect a runway show for her clothing line Fetish. “Hopefully in the fall, we’ll see. I mean, from what I can see in the fashion shows I’ve been to, you have to have your s**t together. So I want to do it when my s**t’s all together.”
