City's Pier 60 was done up in a jungle theme complete with
bird calls at international environmental group Natural Resources
Defense Council's annual gala. Actress Sigourney Weaver
hosted the event at which Harrison Ford and Sara
Shallenberger Brown were honored for their environmental
and conservation efforts. The event was also meant to raise
awareness of a threatened natural area in Belize, where Ford
filmed The Mosquito Coast and became aware of that
country's biodiversity. Ford's paramour Calista Flockhart,
Kerry Kennedy Cuomo, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
and his wife Mary Richardson Kennedy came out for the
cause.
