February 23 - The Grammy Awards ceremony sent February out with a celebrity-filled roar on Sunday. Nora Jones, who won five Grammy awards, really looked like she didn't know what hit her - truly a stunning evening for her. In person Nora does seem refreshingly unaffected by her newfound stardom - we hope she stays that way. Maybe after his run on Broadway in Hairspray, Harvey Fierstein should consider fashion consulting - he not only presented in full drag, but changed outfits a couple times, getting the attention of ladies' man Rod Stewart.

After the awards, stars played a frenzied game of party roulette, popping into throw downs hosted by BMG, Sony Music, EMI and Warner Music, just to name a few. Diana Ross was the evening's biggest surprise, appearing at several parties, trademark hair flowing, smiling but aloof. At Sony, award winners Bruce Springsteen and the Dixie Chicks huddled with their handlers, surrounded by security guards. These guys really know how to have fun! People with the most stamina headed downtown to celebrate late-late with Justin Timberlake and Nelly at Capitale.
